Lindsey Stiner
Weekend Anchor/Reporter

School: Amarillo College
Hometown: Amarillo

Lindsey was born and raised in Amarillo. She is a proud graduate from Randall High School.

In May of 2007 she pursued her higher education and graduated from Amarillo College with an Associate of Science Degree. From an early age, Lindsey knew her passion was news. At age 18, she started working at another Amarillo station as an editor and quickly worked her way to producer, then reporter.

In August of 2006 Lindsey started working at KVII as the 10pm producer. Then in May of 2007, decided it was time for a change and moved to Portland, Maine where she worked at WGME producing the morning's 2hr fast paced newscast. But she quickly grew tired of the snow and missed all the wonderful Panhandle people, and moved back to Amarillo in May of 2009.

Now back at KVII Lindsey, is thrilled to be able to work for the community she loves! In June 2011, she was named as the Weekend Anchor/Producer.

Lindsey also actively works on education news, striving for excellence in reporting the good happening in our Region 16 schools. Lindsey has produced award-winning pieces, receiving honors such as the 2011 TASB Media Honor Roll from Clause ISD, the 2011-2012 TCTA Silver Apple Media Excellence Award and the 2011-2012 Amarillo Independent School District's Partners in Education Media Award.

Lindsey and her husband Brandon live in Amarillo where they hope to be for years to come.
