Lee Baker is the longest serving Sports Anchor in Amarillo, having worked in market for nearly 30 years. Hewas born and raised in Indiana. After high school, Lee served four years in the Navy and is a Vietnam veteran. After his stint in the Navy, Lee attended Indiana University.
Following college, Lee worked as a representative for a chemical company and a shirt company. Lee was required to do a lot of traveling in this capacity and was based in Iowa and then California. Lee has been working in broadcasting since 1980. He started in radio, and worked his way into television. He joined KFDA-TV in September of 1983 and then came to KVII in March of 1988.
