Amarillo joins the statewide March 19 Coalition to stand against war

began. To commemorate and protest the invasion, organizations in cities
nationwide will hold antiwar events on March 19.In Texas, a statewide coalition of organizations, named the March 19
Coalition, will be holding antiwar demonstrations on this weekend.
Question War Amarillo, as part of that coalition, will stand in prayer and witness
to the evil of war in front of City Hall, at 7th and Buchanan, from 5:30 to 7:00
PM, on Friday, March 18. The action is called Resisting America's Wars.The messages of this event are: All American and NATO troops out of Iraq
and Afghanistan NOW! No more killing civilians, often children, or secret
incarceration of alleged terrorists and torturing them in our name! Cut
military funding and fund programs which make American people great!The media is welcome. There will be lots of signs proclaiming our messages
of true peace, and participants will be available for interviews.
