AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Annual Bikers 4 Bikers Foundation Memorial Wall Dedication at Grace Church gave bikers the opportunity to speak of loved ones they have lost and to forever remember them with bronze plaques.

For nine years, the yearly event has brought bikers together from all over the Panhandle.

"There are a lot of us that have been riding for many years and motorcyclists, all in all, are a family," Grace Church Associate Pastor Lee Banks said.  "And this, more or less, just pretty much proves it in the fact that we have all different types from all different backgrounds here together today."

A wall outside the church is covered with plaques commemorating the lives of people who died while riding motorcycles, and also the lives of those were supportive of the motorcycle enthusiast lifestyle.

Bikers spoke of their fallen friends and family and went on a symbolic bike run.  They then returned to the church for a cookout.

According to Banks, the event continues to gain support from the community.  He said members of the foundation see it as not only a chance to remember, but also an opportunity to spread the Word of God to fellow motorcyclists.
