If you have acute or chronic pain that appears to be muscle or joint related, you may be in need of chiropractic care.
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a scientific healthcare system that seeks to ensure proper nerve communication throughout the body. Nerves send signals via the spinal cord to the rest of the body. When nerve flow is reduced so signals cannot reach their destination, the body becomes less healthy over time. If uncorrected, this can contribute to symptoms and/or disease.
What Do Chiropractors Do?
Chiropractic doctors locate areas of the spine where nerve flow is reduced (called subluxations). If a patient has subluxations, the chiropractor will recommend a series of spinal adjustments to remove pressure from nerves by gently moving a misaligned (twisted) spinal bone back into its central, healthy position. Adjustments may be given by a doctor's hands or with a small instrument and they should feel comfortable to the patient.

Long-term spinal adjustments improve overall health and reduce the chances of the body getting sick. The brain and spinal cord are the master control system of the body, and must be maintained for your entire life. If a nerve running to an organ is stretched, tethered or choked, the nerve will eventually die and so will the organ. For example, when a nerve to your tooth dies, your tooth dies and you need a root canal. Our body does not become diseased due to genetics, but due to the interference of transmission of mental impulses to and from the brain.
