When heading out for trip, or even a short errand, we generally don't anticipate running into trouble. The first step is to make sure your vehicle is road worthy and all routine maintenance has been taken care of. Here at Aardvark, on even the simplest of services, including an oil change, we run your car through a multi-point inspection, making sure that your tires have proper inflation and check all your fluid levels. Beyond servicing your vehicle there are some items to make sure you keep on board when you head out onto the open road:

  • A few basic tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, a vice grip and some duct tape.

  • Jumper cables, a jack & a tire iron

  • A can of "fix a flat" for a temporary seal & inflation of a flat tire

  • Additional water, not only for the car but for you as well!

  • Emergency flares & reflectors

  • A pair of gloves, a blanket and a towel

  • A flashlight and even an additional cell phone battery

Hopefully your upcoming road trips will go without a hitch, but just in case trouble pays a visit you will be glad to have these items on hand.
