Thrills and chills for the whole family

AMARILLO -- Maxwell's Pumpkin Farm in Amarillo is offering tricks and treats for people of all ages leading up to Halloween. The farm has over 70 acres of family fun so you are sure to find something you will like.

A seven acre Pumpkin patch allows little ones to find the perfect Pumpkin for making a jack o lanturn. Directly across the path you will find a giant maze which takes most about an hour and a half to complete.

On the other side of the farm little ones can play in the air bouncer, slide down the Maxwell Mine Mountain Slide, enjoy a train ride, and even race carts through a small hay course.  Pumpkin Painting and visiting Bunny Town is sure to please your toddlers, while some of the more daring can climb the Crop Pyramid.

At 8 P.M. The gates open for the HAUNTED MAZE, which is full of twists turns and plenty of freak outs.  You never know what ghost or ghoul is awaiting around the bend. You may also find some famous villains that have come to the maze straight out of the silver screen.

There are too many spooky critters to mention (and we don't want to spoil the fun) but its recommended that only 6th grade and up attempt this horrifying journey.

The farm is open Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 5 and cost 8 dollars per person over two years of age. The Giant and Haunted Maze are open Friday and Saturday from 8 until 10 P.M. the cost of admission to both mazes will run you 10 dollars.  To get to Maxwell's Pumpkin Farm take the McCormick Exit on I-27 and head east to Bell, turn North and you cant miss the fun.

The week before Halloween the Haunted Maze will be open nightly at 8 P.M.
