Executives say they are in early planning stages for a drafthouse in Amarillo
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A new face and a new concept in movie watching may be making its way to Amarillo.
Franchisers announced today they are considering building an Alamo Drafthouse right here in Amarillo .
A Drafthouse is like a movie theatre there are six screens with the latest movies playing, but while you are taking in the flick, you can get great food and drinks--including beer and wine.
Triple Tap Ventures' President, Neil Michaelsen told ProNews Seven that although several cities are being considered, they are looking at possible locations to build in Amarillo.
Michaelsen also told ProNews Seven that Amarillo was near the top of their list for places to expand.
It could all happen within the next two years.
