AMARILLO, TEXAS -- It's a day most brides dream about: their wedding day. Although the Barrera's have been married ten years -- they never got one. But Saturday, that all changed.

"They never had a wedding. I think they got married in front of the Justice of the Peace and from what I heard it only took about 10 minutes and so we decided to give them a wedding that they never had", said General Manager of Amarillo Club, Rick Madrigal.

The entire wedding, from the space to the cake, even hair-styling was all donated by the Amarillo Club or family and friends.

"She started crying when she saw the cake and just got so excited about getting everything taken care of, when she saw the room she was just oh so ecstatic", adds Madrigal.

Because both Crystal and Fidel suffer from various physical impairments, getting their start, becoming independent and raising their beautiful daughter has proven to be a challenge...but certainly not one they couldn't overcome.

"It's been really hard for them because of their physical impairments and everything but they've really made it work and they have a little girl, Naomi, she's almost five and she's just their joy", said family friend, Ashlyn Mannis.

The Barrera's renewed their vows Saturday at their very own wedding, enjoying every second of their long imagined dream and beating the odds every step of the way.

"I think it's always nice when people who really don't ask for anything get really what they deserve. I mean, they're great people and they've really fought for their relationship and for just everything that they have so I think it's going to be great for them to have an opportunity just to have a special day just to recognize their marriage and everything they've been through" continues Mannis.

Not only did the Barrera's get to have their first real wedding ceremony Saturday afternoon, but that evening they also got to enjoy their first honeymoon.
