The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Laura W. Bush Institute for Women's Health is continuing to take steps forward in promoting women's health through a new partnership with Texas Health Resources in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Back in 2007, the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center renamed their Women's Health Research Institute, to the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women's Health. Monday at the Ritz-Carlton in Dallas, the university and the institute hosted a luncheon to honor Bush for her efforts in women's health issues.
