Oklahoma Panhandle education elections

OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE -- There were several education elections in the Oklahoma panhandle today. Here's how they turned out.

From Cimarron county, voters decided 2 Boise city school bond issues.

They approved a $195,000 building and remodeling question, 137 to 37.

They also approved a $140,000 equipment issue, 134 to 46 against.

In a school board race in the felt school district, Michael Cryer lost to John Fain Junior, 22 to 56.

There were five school board races in Texas county.

In the goodwell district, Cory Rose defeated A-James Benjamin Junior, 86. to 29

In Hardesty, Paul Mayer lost to Mitch Tharp, 19 to 56

In Hooker, Anna Arvel White defeated Ruth Rollins, 214 to 123.

In Texhoma, Lupe Rodriguez lost to John Nye, 24 to 72.

In the Turpin district, which covers both Texas and Beaver counties, Shelby Williams lost to Frank King, 120, to 153.
