AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Fire officials are investigating a house fire that happened Friday afternoon in north Amarillo.
Crews responded to the blaze on NE 6th and Pierce around 3:15. Officials say no one was injured, and the fire was confined to the south side of the duplex. Officials estimate the damage caused to be around $25,000.
Traffic in the area was backed up for a while, because crews had to block the 600 block of N. Pierce to battle the fire.
