BUSHLAND, TEXAS -- It's not every day you hear about a high school student writing a book.

But a Bushland teen has done just that, and his topic is pretty timely.

Hunter Fithen is giving some special advice to the guys that are asking girls to the prom or any other important event.

"The high school counselor Denise Donal had suggested that I write a book about how to ask girls to prom so once I had that suggestion it just took off from there," said Hunter Fithen, Author.

It took about 625 hours and almost a whole school year to finish but in the end, "102 Memorable and Manly Ways to Ask a Lady to Prom" was born.

In it, Hunter has creative and witty advice for his fellow man. He says he even helped some of his friends score their dream date.

"I helped out a few buddies here and there ask their dates to prom and not one was turned down," said Fithen.

His advice to you, "My biggest advice to my fellow men out there is to keep your date happy if she's happy you're happy. And when it comes to asking women important questions, such as will you go to prom with me, the cheesier the better," said Fithen.

You can only buy his book through Amazon.com, but it's just 99 cents. He said it was easier and faster to publish that way.
