AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Two juveniles were killed in a hit-and-run crash in North Amarillo Sunday evening, police said.
The driver of the vehicle was brought to the Amarillo Police Department by a family member, police said.
Gillermo Flores, 19, was booked into the Potter County Jail on two counts of Accident Causing Injury or Death.
At about 8:15 p.m., Sunday, police were dispatched to the intersection of North Mirror and Northeast Wichita where a motor vehicle had reportedly struck two pedestrians.
Police said initial information indicates two juveniles were crossing the street from west to east when a motor vehicle hit them.
Flores, according to police, was driving a 2006 Dodge Ram northbound on North Mirror when he struck the two juveniles, killing them.
A Justice of the Peace ordered autopsies on the two juveniles.
The crash remains under investigation and police said there is no indication alcohol was a factor.
