Dumas Police and Fire Departments in joint investigation for Sunday night vandal

DUMAS, TEXAS -- Dumas Police and Firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 400 block of Spruce Street Sunday night.

Dumas Fire Department had the fire under control when another garage fire was reported in the 600 block of Spruce Street. Later that same evening a dumpster fire was reported in the 600 block of Spruce Street.

During the investigation, officers observed spray painted graffiti on several of the residences and  vehicles on that block.

According to a news release, AFD and DPD are jointly investigating the incidents. Both departments said that several pieces of evidence have been collected from the scene.
