Crime of the Week: Man robs Amarillo liquor store

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help in solving this week's Crime of the Week.

On Feb. 4, 2013 a liquor in the 1900 block of south east 34th Avenue was robbed at gunpoint.

A female was working in the store at the time of the robbery and reported to police that a man entered the store holding a hand gun and had approached the counter and demanded money. The employee gave the man the cash from the register and put it on the counter. The man took the money and ran west away from the store. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a hispanic male, 5'5"-7" tall. He was wearing a black ski mask, black coat, black pants and dark colored gloves. He left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
