AMARILLO, TEXAS -- While putting together the overview piece on the Texas Panhandle Honor Flight...I must admit I was a little overwhelmed. Most news packages that air on ProNews 7 are around two to three minutes, and mine was almost four! You wouldn't think that would be a big deal, or even that lengthy of a story, but in news every second counts. I felt I needed that time though, to properly tell the story and to set the series properly.

Steve and I captured an amazing amount of incredible video during our time in D.C. We were our own photographers, we edited our own stories, and we wrote everything ourselves. I have to say, I would not of had it any other way during this trip. The creativity really gets flowing when you are calling your own shots, and I hope that shows in our product. We joke at how we could have put together an hour long special about the flight, and would've jumped at the chance had it been available.

It's so wonderful to see all of the stories come together, and I can't wait for you to see them all.
