Back in 2007, the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center renamed their Women's Health Research Institute, to the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women's Health. Monday at the Ritz-Carlton in Dallas, the university and the institute hosted a luncheon to honor Bush for her efforts in women's health issues.
