San Jacinto Christian Academy and Heritage Classical Academy are Joining forces. This year, a merger between two of the most respected Christian academies in Amarillo should boost the overall level of Christian education here in the Panhandle. The initial plans are to utilize both campuses, the current Heritage campus on Republic, will act as a pre-K and kindergarten facility. The SJCA campus on 6th street will be the elementary, middle and high school campus. Heritage students and supporters will start wearing red and blue soon and will dawn the patriots mascot. This spring will be the education and transitional process. Parents, faculty, and families of both schools will learn a lot more about each other through letters and meetings in the coming months. By August of 2009 the merger should be complete.
