AMARILLO -- Pronews 7 has confirmed with city officials that the manager of the Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport has resigned.

Richard McConnell turned in his resignation on Monday, but the City will not comment on why.

McConnell was promoted to Airport Manager last year when Richard McCollum resigned.

Airport Assistant Manager, Scott Carr, is now the interim manager.
