SUGAR LAND, Texas (AP) - Investigators suspect murder-suicide in the shooting deaths of a suburban Houston mother and her 18-month-old daughter.
Fort Bend County sheriff's officials say the woman's husband found their bodies Friday in an upstairs bathroom in the family's Sugar Land home.
Chief Deputy Craig Brady said the body of 25-year-old Kiljuana Clark was found with her toddler, Halley, on her lap, in an empty bathtub.
A .45-caliber pistol believed to be used was also found in the bathtub.
The Houston Chronicle reports the woman's husband was mowing the lawn about 2:30 p.m. when he went inside and found the bodies. He immediately called 911.
