DALLAS (AP) - A lawsuit accuses an oil and gas company owned by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones of aiding an alleged $15 million fraud.

The suit filed Wednesday in federal court in Dallas does not name Jones. The defendants are Blue Star Oil and Gas and its exploration manager, Lonnie Williams.

The lawsuit stems from a 2008 federal case alleging fraud committed by a Louisiana businessman who works with Blue Star.

Blue Star attorney Retta Miller says the lawsuit lacks merit. Jones declined to comment.

Williams is infamous among football fans in Texas for his alleged role in "The Spy Game," the 1976 Texas-Oklahoma clash. Before the game, Texas coach Darrell Royal accused Williams of spying for the Sooners by sneaking into a Longhorns practice.
