CLOVIS, N.M. -- The City of Clovis will have a new leader after the incumbent was beat out by a previous three-term mayor.
Mayor Gayla Brumfeld was going after a second term. Former three-term mayor David Lansford won the race by more than 1,000 votes.
Lansford received 2,914 votes and Brumfeld received 1,710 votes.
