The local election results are finally tallied and posted.

For Randall County, County Commissioner, Pct. 1., Christy Dyer beat Kyle Black. For Constable, Pct. 4, Chris Johnson beat Bert Bytheway.

In the Castro County Judge, Carroll Gerber beat Tom Taylor, by three votes, 359-356.

For Dallam County, Constable, Shane Stevenson beat Dwayne Dennis.

In Hemphill County County the race for Commissioner, Pct. 3 saw Mark Meek beat Bryan King 225-103.

Don Johnson beat Michael "mickey" Blackmon for Hutchinson County Sheriff by a majority of 650 votes.

Sherman County Sheriff election saw Joe Powell beat Ted Allen.
