A Crime Stoppers tip led Amarillo police to a man accused of being an accomplice to a home invasion robbery earlier this week that ended with the death of a man.

Police have determined that 25-year-old Patrick Lee Red brought both suspects to the home in the 4100 block of South Hughes on January 7th.

According to police, 22-year-old Daniel Hayward Bartlett and 19-year-old Justin Campbell forced their way into the home to rob the homeowners.

One of the occupants in the home shot and killed Bartlett, and wounded Campbell.

Red is also accused of transporting Campbell away from the scene after the incident.

Campbell was treated for a gunshot wound to the shoulder, then booked into the Randall County jail on a charge of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit aggravated robbery.

Red was also booked into the Randall County jail on the same charge.

At this time, police believe there are no other suspects involved.
