AMARILLO, TEXAS -- While Texas ranks third in the nation in teen pregnancies, one local group is trying to remind teens that they are "Worth the Wait."

Worth the Wait is a group that focuses on abstinence and making healthy choices.

It offers after school programs at several area schools and clubs including Caprock High School.

ProNews 7 caught up with some teens at Caprock Wednesday who participate in the program and they said the program has made a huge difference in their lives.

"The best part about it is the teacher," said junior Thomas Leto. "She explains it so perfectly so that you can understand easily. And when you go home, you can be like, 'Hey, mom dad, guess what, I had this and this taught to me today.' It's pretty fun."
