OLDHAM COUNTY, TEXAS -- An 8-year-old child has died as a result of a one vehicle traffic accident that happened early Tuesday morning in Oldham County.
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers said the crash occurred 16 miles West of Vega on I-40 at 3:17 am.
According to troopers, there were two adult males and 4 female children in the vehicle .
During the crash a 3-year-old and an 8-year-old were ejected from the vehicle as it rolled.
The 8-year-old girl did not survive the crash.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
