LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) -- The U.S. Marshals Service is looking for six men who walked away from a Las Cruces halfway house for prison inmates transitioning to full release.

The Dona Ana Sheriff's Department says seven men left the Charities Halfway House early Saturday, but one was captured at his mother's house in Berino.

Marshals are looking for 21-year-old David Luis Aguilera, 24-year-old Colby Edward Steele, 24-year-old Richardo Rael, 35-year-old Laurence Mose, 32-year-old Brian Dolan and 23-year-old Mario Vasquez. The men are considered dangerous and could still be in the Las Cruces area. Anyone with information should call the Marshals Service or the Dona Ana sheriff.

NM Escapees sought

The article says the men are "dangerous". If they are so dangerous, why were they not still in prison? Then everyone wonders why there is so much crime in this country.
