DUMAS, TEXAS -- The Moore County Press in Dumas reports that the well known A&E channel will be setting up shop soon.

Filming for an A&E documentary set in Dumas is planned to begin on Nov. 12 and run through the 16th.

The Moore County Judge says the documentary, which was originally planned for filming in Purgatory, Utah, is meant to serve as a deterrent for at-risk juveniles.

The show will select one area "at-risk" juvenile from the Dumas area to appear in the feature.

They will be confined to the Moore County Jail for a weekend where he or she will be treated and processed through the court system just as any incarcerated person would be.

Six months after filming, the documentary crew will check back with that individual to report on what effect, if any, the program had.
