AMARILLO, TEXAS -- There is a scam email spreading all over Texas that seems to be disturbing and may be influencing some early voters.
So, the Amarillo Association of Realtors set the record straight this morning concerning what these propositions are all about.
The email titled 'State Tax Proposal' warns Texans that unless they vote "no" to propositions 2 and 3 they will have to pay a new state tax.
Pronews 7 sat down with local realtor Tracy Howland to set the record straight and make sure this was not the case.
Howland said, "propositions 2,3 and 5 are tax reform propositions they are pro for property owners, and proposition 11 deals with eminent domain. Nothing about a new state tax is involved in either, that is totally false information."
Early voting continues through tomorrow for the Nov. 3 election.
