AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Keith Olbermann, host of "Countdown" on MSNBC, recently poked fun at the location of the tea party next week.
Olbermann was doing a story about upcoming tea parties scheduled across the country. When Olbermann mention the one scheduled in Amarillo, he pointed out that it would be held at John Stiff park, in one of the picnic areas. Then, sarcastically, said he hoped people won't interrupt the event going on in an adjacent picnic area. Olbermann was making a point at where the party's were being held.
Pronews 7 has calls into Mr. Olbermann's publicist asking if he has even been to Amarillo or knows the size of the park or picnic area. As of 6:00, those calls haven't been returned.
