ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A 19-year-old man has been charged under Navajo law with unauthorized use of a vehicle after being arrested in connection with the slaying of a nun in Navajo earlier this week.

Navajo Nation court records identify the man as Reehahlio Carroll. He was being held in a Window Rock, Ariz., jail Friday after being arrested a day earlier in Navajo.

An FBI spokesman confirmed that Carroll was the person they arrested in connection with the death of 64-year-old Sister Marguerite Bartz. Her body was found at her home next to the St. Berard Catholic Church on Sunday.

Carroll has not been charged in connection with Bartz's murder. Court records show he allegedly was seen driving a car taken from Gallup on Wednesday without the owner's consent.
