A grassfire has been burning in Northern Roberts County for several hours now. Pronews 7 spoke with officials in Roberts County who said that fire fighters from Miami, Hoover, and Perryton have all been dispatched to the blaze.
We will continue to stay on top of this story and bring you any additional information as it becomes available.
UPDATE: The fire was put out before 8 p.m. Friday night. Officials say, it took approximatley 5 hours to get the fire out. Now all fire crews are back at their bases. So far there is no word on the cause of the fire, or many acres it has burned.
