AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Texas Department of State Health Service will be holding H1N1 vaccination clinics around the Texas Panhandle in the upcoming weeks.

According to Don Nicholson, the number of the vaccines at each clinic will depend on the size of the community being served. Nichols said the health department did have amply supplies of both the mist and injections. While nobody will be turned away, the clinics will focus on the priority groups defined by the Centers for Disease Control.

Those are as follows:

Children 6 months to 24 years, people 25-64 with high-risk health conditions, those with contact with infants 6 months or under, health care workers with direct contact with patients.

If people are not included in one of those groups, they might have to wait longer at the clinic to get the vaccination. Below is a list of area clinics.
