AMARILLO -- Over five-hundred dedicated volunteers from all over the region have gathered to build a new worship hall here in Amarillo. The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, this brand new worship hall will serve 3 different congregations here in town.

It's hard to believe that just this past Wednesday all that stood was a concrete foundation, but over the past couple of days volunteers from as far as Alpine and Perryton have quickly built this project from the ground up.

"We like to emphasize to people, that what you see is cooperation among individuals, and that is a result of our learning to have that Christ like personality," said Doug Dickman, Project Coordinator.

Officials say the project should be done my mid January. This same group of volunteers built a worship hall in Borger last year.
