The investigation continues into what caused the gas pipeline explosion near Darrouzett that killed 2 Pampa men and injured 3 others.

Pronews 7 spoke with DCP Midstream, the company that operates that pipeline on Monday. A company spokesman said their preliminary investigation hasn't been able to find the record stating that a call was made by the Nick Thomas Company before digging began. A company is supposed to call before they dig. Once that call is made crews are sent out to mark various lines.

An attorney for the Nick Thomas Company said they didn't have any definitive information on that call record. He did say they are looking into several issues, one being whether or not DCP had their lines marked properly in that area.
