AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The High Plans Food Bank announced a couple of new changes, and the ultimate purpose is to reach more in order to gain more .
After 21 years with the same logo, the High Plains Food Bank now has a new look.
Another change that's taking affect is their web site. People can now go online to make donations.
Broc Carter, Food Bank Communications Director, says it's all about keeping up with the times.
"To us our website is our second store front -- it is what people look at before they call us. They will go on our website and check us out, so we have to stay innovative and have a website that will last for years and years to be relevant."
Carter says their updated web page will not only make some of their business more efficient, but they also hope to bring in more of the younger generation to help volunteer.
"Volunteers will now be able to sign up online. My generation and the generation I live in are where people are headed. They say lets go online, what can we do online, and so we'll be able to reach a younger generation and make hunger relevant to them."
