BORGER, TEXAS -- Pronews 7 has confirmed that the fire in Hutchinson County is out.

Danny Richards, the Hutchinson County Emergency Management Coordinator, said the fire burned between 35,000-38,000 acres of land. Richards said there were no reports of residences or businesses being destroyed but that a few outbuildings, storage barns and tool sheds did suffer some damage.
