POTTER COUNTY, TEXAS -- "She thinks my tractor's sexy," has a whole new meaning.

Police say a woman driving a large farm tractor recklessly without lights on I-40 early Friday caused more than $100,000 in damage.

The call came into Police just after 4 a.m. Friday. Delani Hazen, 20, of Logan, NM, was reported to be driving the large tractor recklessly just west of mile 54 on I-40 west. Police say she wrecked the tractor into a barbed wire fence on the north side of I-40.

The caller, who was an employee at the Pak A Sak, reported finding a wrecked farm implement in a business parking lot. Extensive damage was also reported to the business.

Responding Deputies found a John Deer farm tractor that had crashed into and wedged itself on top of a parking guard in front of the business. Damage to the front as well as to the fuel pumps was also reported in addition to the fencing.

Xcel Energy power poles were also discovered damage which caused a power outage to the Bushland community Friday morning.

Hazen was taken into custody and booked into the Potter County Detention Center. She is charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, which is a state felony. Hazen is also charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a Class B Misdemeanor.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed.
