AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo Police have released the name of the person who was found dead inside an Amarillo residence Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities say Ricky Glen Provence, 51, of Amarillo was found inside an apartment in the 1500 block of South Jefferson. Upon arrival, officers observed things inside the apartment that made them feel the deal was suspicious.
The Special Crimes Unit responded and took over the investigation. An autopsy has been ordered and will be performed Wednesday.
