Amarillo Police are now investigating a major traffic wreck off southbound I-27 Monday afternoon where a vehicle flipped off the overpass.
According to police, the wreck happened at about 2:45 p.m near the Moss/Parker exit of I-27. A red pickup and a dark-colored vehicle were southbound when the collision occurred.
That's when eyewitnesses told Pronews 7 the red pickup flipped off the bridge and landed on the street below.
Police said it was unclear which vehicle failed to maintain their lane and crossed in front of the other vehicle.
Only minor injuries were suffered by the victim, police said.
