The American Red Cross has opened a shelter in Guymon.
Eddie Adamson, Guymon's Chief of Police, said the shelter is for anyone who needs a warm place to stay overnight.
Guymon Public Schools canceled its classes for Tuesday.
The shelter is located at Victory Memorial Methodist Church at 523 N. Roosevelt in Guymon.
