AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Police are searching for the suspect who they say robbed a Dollar General at gunpoint Friday morning.

The suspect then turned around to the clerk. She had a semi-automatic pistol pointed at her, police said.

The clerk was escorted by the suspect to the check-out area and demanded money. That's when the suspect reportedly jumped the counter and ran out the door.
