ESTELLINE, TEXAS -- Officials now believe the fire at Estelline City Hall last week was the work of an arsonist.
The Texas Rangers along with City of Estelline officials are continuing their investigation into the fire. It was rumored that a speed sign at the edge of the city was involved. According to a news release, that is not the case and that person was not involved in the blaze.
City officials said the inside of the building is a total loss. As for old Estelline School trophies that were moved to City Hall, Texas Department of Public Safety said they are okay.
