AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Fire officials are investigating two intentional fires Tuesday morning, both at the same location.

According to the Amarillo Fire Department (AFD), the fire, located in the 4400 block of SE 10th, was estimated at causing $20,000 in damage.

AFD said it was first dispatched to the location just after midnight. Upon arrival, firefighters found a detached garage involved in a small fire. It was quickly extinguished, AFD said.

At about 4:30 a.m., firefighters were called to the same address. The detached garage was found to be fully engulfed, officials said. It was under control by 5:08 a.m.

Fire officials said no damage was done to the residence and no injuries were reported. The garage was deemed a complete loss.

The fires remain under investigation by the Amarillo Fire Marshal's Office. It was determined the fires were set intentionally.
