AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Police are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found behind the Auto Zone on Amarillo Boulevard Wednesday afternoon.
The victim was identified as a young black male, police said.
It was Wednesday afternoon when police said the body was found behind the Auto Zone in the 600 block Amarillo Boulevard. Police said a groundkeeper saw the body and contacted them.
Preliminary autopsy results indicate the person died of complications from an illness.
It was originally being investigated because of the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
