AMARILLO, TEXAS -- There is a new local Facebook page that is been designed to help reunite lost dogs with their owners.

Rainbow Pawzs *Lost Doggies Spotters of the Amarillo Texas Area* has been designed to allow people to list descriptions or post pictures of lost animals in hopes of a successful reunion.

It just kicked off this week with great expectations.

"Six months ago I lost one of our family dogs and he was gone for a week before he got hit with a car," said Cleaver, with Rainbow Pawz. "I feel that with this Facebook page we can help reunite families with their pets before something like that happens."

Cleaver hopes the page becomes a great success and helps save many lost dogs in the Amarillo area.
