AMARILLO, TEXAS -- "The Nat", located on 6th street has a long and interesting history.

And now it is getting a new face thanks to one young woman.

It is easily one of Amarillo's most famous historic buildings and Saturday, it had it's grand reopening.

Kasey Robinson recently bought "The Nat", which has been home to many different things since it's beginnings in the '20s.

It was first a pool then a dance hall.

"The pools actually still down there," said Robinson. "It's not filled in, there's nothing in it and the dance hall floor is the original that was built in the '20s."

"The Nat" has seen the likes of Louis Armstrong and Little Richard walk through it's halls.

Now it's taking on a new form, mixing a little bit of history with shopping.

"We're the first in Amarillo to kind of do more of a market place," said Robinson. "It's not necessarily an antique mall.

Right now there are more than 70 vendors, selling old, new and handmade items.

There are even vendors from Austin, Tulsa and Taos.
