Staying healthy is always a top priority for folks and Saturday hundreds in the community came out to get a free health screening.
Trinity Baptist Church put on a health fair Saturday morning.
Their focus was on the Wolflin Elementary School community.
Volunteers from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and from the church helped with everything from dental and eye care-to checking blood pressure.
"We've really chosen to do this so that our church can be a blessing to this community," said Alan Keister, a volunteering physician. "So it's been a really great day. We've had a great turnout with kids and their families from Wolflin Elementary School and the neighborhoods surrounding."
Trinity Baptist Church hopes with Saturday's success, this becomes a regular health clinic for the community.
