OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A teenager who's accused of fatally stabbing a 29-year-old man is making a deal with prosecutors that could keep him out of prison. Willie Evans entered an Alford plea to manslaughter yesterday, which means he's maintaining his innocence while acknowledging prosecutors have enough evidence to convict him. Prosecutors say his case will be dismissed if he satisfies certain conditions and doesn't commit another crime.
TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Tulsa police are searching for a missing 2-year-old who they say may have been taken by her father. Authorities say Venice Lampkins was taken from the backseat of her mother's vehicle when the woman stopped at an apartment complex this weekend.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Opening statements are expected today in the trial of a Del City father who's facing a series of charges in relation to the fire deaths of his three young children. Christopher Dunham is accused of child neglect, possession of drug paraphernalia and other drug charges. His wife entered a no contest plea in the case and will be sentenced next month.
